The interior 'earthen wall' is taking shape

Framing this shape was yet another challenge. Fitting the fireplace and TV niche into an ellipse was interesting for Dan.
The vent for the whole-house fan is hidden in this wall along with the fireplace vent.
Pacific Plaster formed the end of the wall and added the niches that Danielle suggested.
We sized the niches for two favorite sculptures. Shhh, don't tell the grandsons we talked about making this a climbing wall to see out the clearstory.
